IPA strengthens support for consumers worried about data leaks
On 2 November, IPA announced stronger consumer security consultation support in response to repeated disclosures of data leaks involving unauthorized access. It says the service advises individual users across Japan on reducing secondary harm and on everyday precautions.
Dominican ministry reports dispatch of about 525 tonnes to Haiti via Haina
A 1 November Dominican foreign-ministry release reports the dispatch from Haina of a vessel carrying about 525 tonnes of equipment and supplies for the force in Haiti. It attributes the shipment’s origin to Bangladesh, transport financing to Germany, and logistical coordination to Dominican authorities and the UN.
